mainly advises private individuals, companies, and public clients on employment, corporate, and inheritance law issues. One focus of his work is procedural representation, particularly in appeal proceedings.
After studying law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Mr. Baumgarten obtained a Maîtrise en droit at Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris and an LL.M. at King’s College London. During his studies in London and his work as a research assistant at Freie Universität Berlin, Mr. Baumgarten taught students in German criminal law and administrative law. His dissertation on a topic in European law is currently under review.
Mr. Baumgarten completed his legal training in Berlin from 2020 to 2022. His academic work at White & Case LLP was followed by work as an attorney-at-law at LOH Rechtsanwälte since 2024.
